Pattern Inspiration | Star Magnolia Tree Pattern design
I truly adore all Magnolia trees because they grace our spring skylines with the most delightful flowers. My favorite, simply because my dad planted one in our garden when I was a child, is the beautiful Stellata tree - the Star Magnolia. It's much more delicate than other Magnolia trees and looks so lovely as the early spring sun warms its petals. Creating this pattern was a delight, and sketching each petal and bud was incredibly soothing. I hope you find as much enjoyment

Pattern Inspiration | Aga Girl design
The Agapanthus flower is such a diva in the cottage garden border as she is a little temperamental to grow. If the winter in cold or wet she fades away and refuses to grow again the next spring. She can also decide to change colour especially if you are growing from seeds. The flower could decide from deep indigo to pale white, pastel pinks to light purples depending on what her parents or grandparents were. To pant her and to place her so delicately into a pattern design was
